I absolutely LOVED Mirta! Her prices were VERY reasonable, especially in comparison to other places I contacted. She is prompt and communicates well. She kept a smile on my face the entire time I was there. I brought my dress in a week before my wedding for a few minor alterations and to get my dress steamed.. it was ready in 2 days! She has a selection of hair pieces and veils. I ended up getting a hair piece that my guests complimented! She has so much experience and is someone you wont forget!

My experience with Mirta went beyond my expectations. I had a mother of the bride dress and the rehearsal dinner dress which needed alterations.  Luckily, I was able to get an appointment within days and Mirta completed the alterations in 3 days! I was thrilled.  The dress for the wedding needed 3 bustles and a hem. The rehearsal dress needed darts and needed to be taken in along both sides. Mirta is the best seamstress in this area of Florida. I have known her, now, for about eight years and She has altered many dresses for me, including ‘mother of the bride’ dresses as well as evening gowns, and everyday dresses. I finally got to plan my wedding day but only had so much money to do everything with. Really could not afford a brand new wedding gown. I found a beautiful gown only used once for $50, how could I pass that up? Only problem was the size. I needed a dress that was about 8 sizes larger. Didn’t think that was possible until I found Mirta. She had me take the dress to her and she assured me that she could make this happen for me, and made it happen is just what she did! Took a size 4 and made it about a size 12. I explained to her what I was looking to have done to it and it was no problem for her. Thanks to Mirta she helped me save money on a dress and not to mention her prices are good. Mirta is very friendly and talks you through the whole process of what she will be doing to your dress. She really knows what she is talking about. She even gave me pointers on the rest of the wedding. Mirta will become your friend! I would recommend anyone needing alterations, see Mirta and your work will be done. My dress was ready in plenty of time and I was able to pick it up the day she said it would be ready. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Mirta and her talent as a seamstress! I drove all the way from St. Pete for fittings with her. She is an absolute pleasure to work. Her eye for perfection ensures you get the very best. I had a strapless dress that I adored, with the only exception being that it didn’t have a sweetheart neckline. Mirta easily converted it and you could never tell it was altered. Not only is she reasonably priced, she is also a sewing magician. My bustle was perfection. THANK YOU MIRTA! My dress was my dream dress, with the exception of the fit! When I took it to Mirta I was going on a limb for the chance to make it perfect. She transformed the dress! During the whole process she was very helpful and positive. My last fitting I was completely amazed at how the dress was made for my body and it was exactly how I pictured it in my mind. She is very patient and dedicated. I also brought my mother and sister to have theirs altered and theirs came out so beautiful. Not to mention the perfect steaming job she did. She is an expert and I recommend her to everyone! I will only use her, my other bridesmaids learned the hard way that bigger companies don’t take the time necessary and charge more and just aren’t as dedicated.

If you have alterations that need to be done on fancy clothing for important events, Mirta is your lady! I had already been to two different places (with no luck). I needed to find someone who was able to alter a Vintage 50’s dress that was several sizes to large for me. Mirta was able to alter it while maintaing its original vintage style! She was a pleasure to work with, and is the sweetest person me or my sister have ever met! You can not go wrong with her. She also makes custom items as well. Thank you so much Mirta!
